Fathers and their sons and daughters have been building outdoor wood projects together before any of us were even around. It's become an abiding activity in our culture that I hope doesn't disappear any time soon. All the plans hosted here can help with those projects, but there's something special about the Large Loft Clubhouse Plan.

A re-imagined version of our Secret Clubhouse concept, this plan features a timeless design that looks like it could have been built 100 years ago or yesterday. A slopping shed roof, 2nd story loft with a trap door and ship ladder, spacey 1st floor porch, 2nd story balcony with yet another trap door and ladder, combined with an overall simple architecture makes for a great project the whole family will love to participate in!

A true design that makes it hard to tell where a child's and adult's ideas drift apart. Download and start building today!

The kids love it!

After winging a plan for a fort at our previous house, the experience, and final result, were so much better using Paul’s plan. From the design and proportions to the material list, there is real value in these plans. All the neighborhood kids agree it is the best playhouse around!

Thank you for the plans

I bought a set of plans from Paul’s Playhouses to build a firehouse for my grandsons to play in. It turned out to be a great COVID project that my father and I built. The plans were very easy to follow and the end project turned out great. I expect the boys to get years of enjoyment out of the firehouse.
