We know that the dreaded school bus is usually the very last thing kids enjoy seeing early on a weekday, so we thought it would be a cruel display of parent trickery if the kiddies could have one to look at every time they go out to play in their own back yards.  At least in my case, I'd prefer to have taken a rather more wicked form of transportation if I must go.  The plus side for the kids is that this bus plan features them as the judge, jury and transporter.

Featuring a 8x17 realistic design and overall scheme, kid's are guaranteed to feel inclined to head to the back and make faces at those behind them.  Either way, this wooden school bus playset has loads of fun details that'll keep them busy, much like school.  Perfect for ages 2 1/2 - 8.

Taking a bus to Legacy

My son used this project for a Eagle Scout project. It had just enough easy steps for 12 year olds on up. Some of the toe in fasteners were a little challenging for a novice builder but we developed into that skill as we went along. You definitely need a miter saw or chop saw or a table saw ad there is a lot of cutting. The instructions were good for the most part but they did skip 1 or 2 instructions, we were able to reference previous pages to figure it out. Plan on buying more screws then the supply list calls for. Overall turned out great. The principal Of the school where we built the bus was very pleased.
