The O'Connor Swing-Set plan is one of our mid-sized playground blueprints. Designed for kids aged 3-12, this plan comes in both the standard 8✕17 size and the deluxe 26✕29 size.  A captivating playset that's perfect for a family of 2 or more and parents with a drive to build something cool!

The O'Connor is modeled to be more in the mainstream, pre-assembled style of backyard playgrounds, with the caveat of being totally DIY with step by step illustrations and instructions.  Made up of two levels and a gable roof, the O'Connor swing set plan totals 96 square feet of play space and includes a 12' swing-set, as well as a rock wall and gang plank.  A great backyard project for active children!

Generally clear instructions

I set out building a playset for my girls last year. The project consumed my summer (and fall... I'm bad at planning) but I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Overall, the plans were pretty helpful, and where there were mistakes they turned out to be on my end, rather than errors in the plans themselves. Buying something prebuilt would have been much faster, but it wouldn't have turned out as nice or as one-of-a-kind as what my kids get to enjoy - something truly special.

Grandkids LOVE it!!

The plans were easy to follow and the lumber list was great! We took our time over several months since it's a little warm here in Texas. We modified the plans a little which was easy to do. We added a sky loft off of the main tower over the swing set and and made the bridge between the towers a wooden suspension bridge. The grandkids are in heaven when they come over and this thing is so sturdy that the grownups even climb around on it! We are very proud of our creation and are known in the neighborhood as that house with the GIANT PLAYHOUSE lol! Thanks Paul!!

Overall you can figure it out

$65.00 plans should have all the info needed, alot of extra info is missing in regards to roofing instructions, hinges, bolts etc. Overall, you can figure it out but these plans are definitely not for beginners. These are for Intermediate DIYers and certain steps should be clearer.

Thank you for creating these plans

The hardest thing was deciding which playground we wanted to build for our children. Took two of us to build it but there were many days when my husband was working alone and he enjoyed the process. We are the talk of the neighborhood with our unique playset!

The plans worked out wonderfully!

These plans were extremely easy to follow, affordable, and really made planning and constructing the project a breeze. I would recommend this to anyone looking to build their own play set, no matter what their carpentry experience is!
