Frankly in today's culture, if you have a back yard and at least one kid, you absolutely must have a mini-play-set behind your house or else you're simply a bad person.  How dare you not give your child something fun to play on and get their state required exercise!

Of course like most people, you really don't feel like dumping over a grand on something they'll just outgrow in a few years.  Never fear, Paul's free swing-set plan is here.  Sure it'll take you a few hours of your time to build, but it'll cost you 1/4 the price you'd pay to buy the same thing fully intact.  So what are you still waiting for?  Choose between our Standard Size plan, or our Deluxe Size that's designed for two 7' deck height slides.

Features:

  • 32ft² (Standard) or 100ft² (Deluxe) side platform
  • 12' long swing-stand with double horizontal swing beams for optional monkey bars (16½")
  • Single 5' platform (Standard) or dual 7' and 5' platforms with lower deck (Deluxe)
  • Room for several accessories like a slide or cargo net
  • Bucket and pulley post (Deluxe)
  • Free Standing
  • 17 page, step by step plan

Great Blueprint!

I made a few edits to the platform since we had a double-wide slide to attach to it but the original plans were great! The only issue I had, and this is probably due to me being a less experienced builder, was connecting the 4x6 angled beams to the 4x6 frame for the monkey bars. I couldn't find clear instructions on that portion but I eventually got it figured out.
