For a truly classic playhouse build, the Damsel makes for a fantastic and charming summer project!  Two design choices are available, with the standard including swing-set instructions, and the deluxe featuring a side addition and attached balcony.  Similar in tone to our Garden Playhouse and Abigail's Getaway, this Cape Cod inspired design spans two floors, tallying in at 190 square feet for a roomy yet cozy interior.

The timeless gable roofs, four dormers and 2nd level balcony add flavorful characteristics to the exterior. Add in the fifteen total windows for ample natural illumination, some flower boxes and three doors, all laced with trim work and corner molding and you'll have yourself a real dream Wendy house for the smaller portions of your family.

Any child will appreciate and fall in love with the charm that the Damsel playhouse will bring. Make sure to also check out our indoor, loft bed variant. Download your copy and start building it this weekend!

Happy building!

Working with Paul at Paul’s playhouse was great from the start. I was a little hesitant on buying the plans(because I didn’t know what I was getting) but after a few emails back and forth with Paul and a sample set of plans I was assured that the plans were to the level of detail that I needed. Paul’s communication was awesome and the plans were so easy to follow. Even if you don’t have any building experience, anyone can follow along the step by step process to build their own playhouse. Happy building!

Great set of plans

I prefer to customize a bit but it really helps to start with a well written set of plans. The plans include a great materials list and are easy to follow. The dormers were probably the most labor intensive part of the build. I also recommend adding some overhang to the roof for water drainage. Great set of plans. Thanks!
